We invite you to celebrate with us the launch of The Armenian Institute’s Autumn 2025 season–a chance to volunteer, support us, and connect. Join us on Tuesday 30th September from 6:30pm at the Armenian House, not only to discover the original events we have in store for you this season, but also to celebrate our participation in a new British Library exhibition on Armenians and Britain.
Indeed, we are delighted to announce that we are contributing to the upcoming British Library exhibition, Britanahay Բրիտանահայ: Armenian and British with audio clips drawn from our oral history project, Heritage of Displacement. The exhibition can be visited in the Library's Treasures Gallery from 27 September 2025 until 22 February 2026. This remarkable showcase brings together printed works and manuscripts from the Library’s collection, illuminating centuries of British-Armenian connections.
This launch event will be an occasion to celebrate together. You will also have an exclusive opportunity to listen to selected clips of audio from Heritage of Displacement ahead of accessing the full interviews later this year, to sign up to volunteer at events, to buy some books, and to connect with others in the community around some light refreshments and a live performance by members of the Maydan Ensemble, Parham Bahadoran & Kourosh Kanani.
On this occasion, and as we start this year’s fundraising drive, we encourage your generous donations to support the Institute’s programme and activities.
