SUPPORT US

Over the last two decades we’ve been proud to become London and the UK’s primary hub for Armenian culture and the arts. From humble beginnings as a team of dedicated volunteers, we’ve matured into a leading Diaspora organisation with global recognition, run by talented staff members assisted by dedicated trustees and advisors. This growth has only been possible with the support of our friends, benefactors and communities, our AI family.

With your support we can continue to:

‣ Make often endangered history and culture a living experience for the Armenian community, our neighbours past and present, through workshops, discussions, performances, screenings, book clubs and more.
‣ Keep the UK’s only dedicated Armenian library and archive accessible to scholars and the general public.
‣ Maintain the only language centre in the UK offering courses in eastern, western and classical Armenian, and launch a wide-ranging programme of educational courses on history and culture.
‣ Provide a platform for under-represented and marginalised experiences in Armenian and related communities, and for exploring sometimes challenging but important issues.
‣ Develop comprehensive online content, including podcasts, magazines and blogs that engage with a diversity of audiences and topics.

This will only be possible with your support and small donations go a long way. Thank you for your generosity.

LEAVE A LEGACY

To discuss leaving a gift please contact Tatevik Ayvazyan.

To discuss leaving a gift please contact us for more information.

Your legacy gift will help us ensure AI’s future. Anyone can make a gift in their will, and it is an immensely valued way to support us.

We are a registered charity, with no taxpayer funding. Your legacy gift will keep AI’s mission alive for the next generation, preserving our library and archive, and keeping Armenian history and culture a living experience.

We recommend you seek independent legal advice when writing your will to ensure it is legally valid and reflects your intentions. Leaving a part or your entire estate to charity can reduce, and in some situations, eliminate the Inheritance Tax liability.

VOLUNTEER

The time and skills you donate make a big difference for us. Volunteers, including our interns, often help in the library, at events, setting up and serving, giving feedback and helping to think of ways to improve.

Other volunteers provide their expertise, including in catalogueing, archiving, graphic design, photographing events, accounting, and contributing delicious food for our refreshment tables.

If you would like to volunteer to be an active part of our activities, please complete the registration form or contact us directly.
